Podiums a plenty for Mickel Motorsport at Knockhill, Scotland
Jack Parker #4 powered by Quiksteel and Allswage UK finished on a high with a phenomenal drive in Sunday’s JLM Elite Cup Final coming from the rear of the grid to take the chequered flag in 2nd place. He was on a mission as he needed to win to have a chance of lifting the JLM Elite Cup but fell short of laps after a multi car incident occurred at the hairpin resulting in a few laps behind the pace car.
On overall points, Jack finished the JLM Elite Cup supporting the British Touring Cars in 3rd place just 40 points shy of the winner. Our congratulations goes to Connor Mills on lifting the title.
There were some other great podiums within the team with Matt Knight #222 powered by MK Development achieving his most successful weekend to date and also lifting a 2nd place podium finish with team mate Oli Schlup #9 powered by K-Seal finishing right behind him in 3rd. Two podium positions in one race is an impressive result for the team.
Jack Parker also lifted podium positions for his points tally Saturday and top points scorer on Sunday.
Paul Musselle #28 powered by Giggabox was awarded the Master Trophy for his great achievements at Croft in the previous meeting.
Mike Schlup #3 powered by JLM drove fantastically following bis very large incident at Croft.
The drivers all showed very impressive driving skills on track in what can only be described as horrendous conditions for some of the races.
