PVL Remain Highly Visible with Triple Champion for 2016
PVL UK Ltd, the high visibility and vehicle markings specialists, are proud to remain partners with triple Champions, Mickel Motorsport Limited, for the upcoming 2016 National UK Legends racing season.
PVL have shared in Mickel Motorsport’s success for many years, delivering their specialist livery and branding support for the race cars. Colin Bean, Commercial Director of PVL said “We are truly excited to continue our long-term partnership with a winning team and enjoy the benefits of such great exposure for the PVL brand. John Mickel and his crew are a joy to be associated with and this is motorsport in its purest form – fast, furious and spectacular.”
Orange is clearly the race team’s lucky colour, with John Mickel picking up the UK, World and Series Championship titles in 2015. With such high visibility, it is a perfect match with PVL’s branding.
Legends race cars are styled on the 1930s American cars but at 5/8 scale, built on a racing chassis and powered by a Yamaha 1250 bike engine. The races are exhilarating as all cars are essentially the same, so you get to see close racing centered round the driver’s skill with 20 minutes of multiple lead changes throughout as cars slingshot each other down the straights.
John Mickel, MD and Driver for Mickel Motorsport Limited said “Last year was amazing and I was very proud to lift three titles, not only for myself but for the loyal partners like PVL who have been so supportive to the team over the years delivering a high level product on our Championship winning race cars.”
8 meetings are planned in 2016 at prestigious circuits including Brands Hatch, Donington and Silverstone. Most meetings will be supporting the British Truck Racing Championship which gives an added thrill to the proceedings as truck racing is the second most popular motorsport series in the UK.
“PVL are planning to hold several hospitality events, giving the chance to get up-close and personal and really see how a race team works – we are looking forward to another great year and look forward to seeing you there!” said Colin.
