Mickel Makes Legends History at Snetterton
Saturday 19th September 2015 – Round 14
John arrived at Snetterton following a full sweep of six race wins out of a possible six races at the last meeting at Silverstone. John’s good fortune continued with three race wins on Saturday at Snetterton and a further two race wins on Sunday. A DNF in the final race put the brakes on the Legends Record. But with a lap record won as well, even John couldn’t complain.
John drove every race like his number 4 K-Seal car was on rails. The handling and the setup of the orange mean machine was untouchable by any other driver and no matter where John started on the grid, when he finished, he finished in first place.

John was taken off in the final race of the weekend by a driver who was later punished for driving dangerously. Despite this DNF John still finished third on the day. There has since been a possible disqualification of two further drivers for rule infringements which could possibly push John up into second place overall on the day. The decision is still pending.
The official Championship points have not yet been published due to the pending results from the final race, however, the Mickel Motorsport Team believe that the Championship lead has now been extended to over 700 points!
