2022 Season Round Up
The season didn’t end the way John Mickel had hoped after he was forced to withdraw from the double round event losing out on a possible 1200 points due to injury after breaking a bone in his foot, but a 3rd place and podium finish in the 2022 Championship for this veteran racer wasn’t bad under the circumstances!
There was an amazing battle for the Rookie title involving Oli Schlup and Luke Simmons who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 2022 season. Oli only just lost out on the Title during the final race of the season after making contact, spinning and losing the title by a mere 30 points. Both our Rookie drivers collected trophies over the weekend and put in some classy driving in the terrible wet conditions with some high placed finishes in 3rd and 4th respectively.
The year saw some great driving with vast improvements for Mike Schlup and Luke Ttakoushis and Paul Simons remained consistent throughout.
It is now time to reset and prepare for 2023!
Thank you to everyone who played an integral part in this team!
